Dog leash

We're proud of our leashes!  We cut these from a thick (9/10 oz.) side of Latigo leather.  Latigo is most commonly used for tack and saddle since it has a high wax content, ample strength and is tanned in both veg tan and chrome tan,  This makes a leather that has the best of both types of tanning.  It's strong, yet softer and quite comfortable for the thickness.  We braid a "bleed" knot on both ends which turns the leather in on itself so it can't come loose. The tighter you pull, the tighter it gets,  We add rivets but those are just there to hold down the tab beyond the knot. Our leashes are 3/4 " wide and come in three lengths: 3', 4' and 5', and two colors:  Rich Brown or Deep Black.
